18-20-3 (3-5 LW).
Hopefully I come around like I did on College this weekend (14-9, 9 outright dog winners).
New York Giants (+2')
The Pats looked like they could run the ball LW, but the G-Men held Ricky Williams and the Dolphins to 37 yards rushing.
The Pats have 13 players with various injuries and half of their defensive starters are out. I think that will present a problem over the middle and I expect Shockey will have a big day.
The Giants are 6-1 ATS on the road after a SU loss in the L7.
Carolina (+5)
The Panthers are 8-3 ATS the L11 as a road dog.
I think the Colts will be a little flat out of the gates today and Carolina's solid running game and good defense.
The Colts still have trouble stopping the run (4.7 ypc) and Carolina can play ball control with Stephen Davis. I think the Colts win, but I can't lay the five.
Green Bay (-1')
I'll probably get burned on this one, but I think the Chiefs get a loss here.
The Chiefs have given up 378 yards on the ground in the last 2 games and the Pack has found their running game with Ahman Green.
I don't expect Dante Hall to break one this week against a good Packer special teams unit.
Houston (+9')
Dom Capers is 3-0 ATS off a bye week.
In some spots, the Texans are a DD dog. In that role, Capers is 9-3 ATS as a DD AD. Tennessee is 4-9 ATS as a HF of 7 or more and 5-10 ATS the L15 as a Divisional HF.
Houston has played good teams tough and they do the same today.
Miami (-3)
The Fins are 9-2 ATS as a non-divisional AF.
I think that the young rookie Byron Leftwich will struggle against the veteran, speedy Fish defense.
Philadelphia (+1)
Philly gets Troy Vincent back here and they will blitz Quincy Carter and force him into making bad decisions.
Philly has seemed to run the ball better in the past 2 weeks.
They screwed me LW, but I think they get the win here and Dallas may be getting overvalued with their "#1 offense in the NFL" and their easy schedule.
New York Jets (+2')
The Jets are 8-2 ATS the L10 against the Bills.
I think the Jets did some soul searching in their bye week and they get their first win today.
Buffalo also has trouble stopping the run just like the Jets.
May add the night game later.
